“When you see the DOG go to GOD in prayer for the Hoffman Family – missionaries to Cyberspace.”

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

The Latest News: My job at Greyhound has gone none stop through the present. The extra work has been generated by a combination of bad weather and the Super Bowl. I am hoping things will slow down a bit more in March and April.

Bible Correspondence Courses:   We finished out 2010 having sent out 5162 Bible lessons (up from 4200 in 2009), saw 15 salvation decisions from the courses (and three from the online Bible Tracts), had 295 active students (including 35 prisoners). The last quarter saw 4 salvations decisions including persons in Cameroon, Indiana, Maryland and a prisoner in Washington state. We had active students from the USA, Australia, Bahamas, Bangladesh, Brunei, Brazil, Cameroon, Canada, England, Ethiopia, France, Ghana, India, Ireland, Jamaica, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Malaysia, Mexico, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Sierra Leone, Singapore, South Africa, Tanzania, Trinidad, Tunisia, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

We want to thank Katherine Feguer, John & Lydia Henrici, Ruth Harvey, JL and Florence Smith for helping on the Bible Correspondence courses over the last several months.

Church Website Ministry:

We received the following email from a person responding to the online Bible Tract “The New Birth”

God and Jesus are my friends now. I feel so calm and clean as I turned a new page in my life. I am born again.  Amy

We are offering Amy Bible Correspondence Courses and trying to refer her to a good local church.

  • I am working with Faith Baptist Church Of Atascadero (http://www.centralcoastfaithbaptist.com) to turn their rescued domain over to them and to allow them to publish using their MAC computer
  • Dr. Russell Kidman (Evangelist) asked if we had a calendar program where he could post his meetings. We have an application called Web Calendar, being used by one missionary and one church so far. I set it up on his website: evangelistrussellkidman.com so people can view his meeting schedule.
  • I received an email from Evangelist Russell Kidman. He was contacted by First Baptist Church of Garden City and asked if he could help them get online. We registered a domain for them (firstbcgc.com), and I have installed the templates for Dr. Kidman.
  • I found a great deal on a web hosting company – unfortunately though they had a killer price but their service was not good.

Tract Ministry: We are still “giving out” 800+ Bible Tracts per month, We have “given out” over 46,000 Bible Tracts online

Social Networking: Please continue praying for our Facebook outreach. My evangelism account is at 1700+ friends.

Support: We are currently at 67% of support for our ministry expenses. 100% of money donated to us goes to support the ministry – no money goes to us at this time.

Prayer Needs: The Lord’s will regarding secular work and health benefits. Help in raising support for the ministry.

Specific Financial Needs:  We still have several needs

  • Projector for the ministry presentation $500-$700
  • Vonage phone service for a year – we can get two months of phone service free if we purchase a year at a cost of $320 (includes taxes and fees). If you are going to sign up for Vonage – give us your email address – if we “invite” you  we can get a free month. Vonage allows us to call FREE to 60 countries and discounted to others – invaluable for our ministry!
  • It’s that time of the year for annual server support.  $576, $469, $269 for servers in 2011.
