I worked with Pastor Dudka today – he is creating our first multi-language website. I set up a separate template domain for his Ukrainian website at ua.rbcukraine.com (the main English site is at rbcukraine.com). He is working on it. My name is Paul and I am 26. I am pastor of "Revival," an Independent Baptist church in the Vizhnitsya region. We have 94 members already and our church is the only church in the Vizhnitsya region. Our church consists of 15 villages, I visit all of the villages where our members are living. This means that my ministry is very widespread, I minister in 15 villages and up to 60 km from the church.
I was chosen to be a pastor 2 years ago, I was a missionary and teacher in my church area.
After, the church chose me, I started my ministry as pastor and as a missionary in that area, but I do not receive any money for the ministry here in Ukraine.
Our Ukrainian Union and my own church do not have money to support me and any missionaries or pastors because of poverty in our country.
Also I am a teacher at the Theological institute where I was a student. I studied for 4 years and after graduation I got a bachelor's degree in Pastoral Ministry and I was invited to be a teacher in the institute, but the situation is the same, I do not receive any money from the institute because they do not have money for teachers. I am doing it for free but I am sure that I will get a reward in heaven.
We now have five services a week and three Bible groups in different places in the mountains. It means that I am involved in the ministry almost every day.
With God's help our church grew and God added 6 new members which were baptized last year. That is a result of God's grace and the ministry which I am doing.
I would ask you to pray for our daily needs and our ministry. We would be very grateful.
I need your input and prayer on helping me to find partners in the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the United States. Since we have no support coming in and it would be a great financial burden to come to the the United States to try and raise support, I would covet any advice you could give me on a plan to raise support in the USA.
Lets pray for it together and it would be an encouragement for me to know that you are praying for my ministry. Lets work together for God's glory because it is big privilege to work for Him.
