How to find an Independent Fundamental Baptist Church
We have a deaf friend over helping us with the Bible Correspondence Courses today. She is looking for a church with a deaf ministry. Using our Independent Baptist Database at baptist-ministries.org I searched for all Texas Churches within the "Deaf" category. 16 churches turned up (including 3 in Mesquite). I don't know of any other database with the churches (we have over 6000 IFB ministries in the database) categorized with several hundred categories including Geographical, Ministries and even type of church. Many of the churches listed in some of the (excellent!) directories are not really Independent, I have found SBC churches, GARBC churches, Bible Churches etc., listed as Independent Baptist Churches. We have attempted to categorize each church from the information on their websites. It takes time, but I feel it offers one of the best Independent Fundamental Baptist reference sources available today. If you have an IFB ministry, please make sure your ministry is listed (you can add/edit your own links), and check the listings for correctness if it is listed. You can submit an error report if you find an error in a listing. The database includes IFB videos, ministry news feeds, prayer requests and much much more.
