I was going through the domains we have registered. There are generally several domains expiring every week. I had two rescued domains coming up for renewal. I called a church in Arkansas this morning to verify the information that was on the expiring web page was correct. I ended up speaking with the Pastor, who had his wife call me back. I created a login for them and turned the web page over to the Pastor’s wife. She has already made updates to the web page using Front Page. I will work with them to get everything set up to their liking. We briefly talked about transferring the domain, but she was focused on getting their web page up and running.
I called a church in Texas (rescued their domain three years ago, the Pastor contacted me over a year ago, saying he wanted to update things and get the site up again. He never called me back. I called in January and left a VM message on their answering machine. I called again today and got the machine. I renewed their domain…
I am purposely not mentioning the churches by name that I have rescued domains for, it is not my intent to embarrass any of these churches, only to get them back online to the Glory of God!
