“When you see the DOG go to GOD in prayer for the Hoffman Family – missionaries to Cyberspace.”
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
The Latest News:The demands of the Greyhound job are still going strong. I am continuing the migration of websites off the current providers due to major security issues the hosting service. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Maureen’s health has improved. Please continue to keep us and this ministry in prayer!
Church Website Ministry:
- I was contacted by a gentleman named Dwight Patterson, a friend of a person that used to use our online Bulletin Board here in Dallas Texas. His friend relocated to Virginia a year or two ago, Dwight wanted to set up a website for a Bible Institute they are trying to get off the ground in Richardson Texas. After a discussion on a domain name, Brother Dwight decided on bbitexas.com. I registered the domain and set up a WordPress website for him.
- I received a call from a member of Southwood Baptist Church in Tallahassee Florida. They wanted to make the Sunday services available online, and possibly do a streaming video. I requested the send me a DVD with the latest service on it, so I can see what the files he is creating look like, and get a process documented so he can FTP the files up to their website and create menu links to view the files. We have been hosting the SBC website since 2006 (southwood-baptist.com).
- We have been hosting the Country Wide Prison Ministry website for years now (cwpmus.org). They have run the gambit from the SOHO templates to the Website baker Templates and now they are on the WordPress templates. They have a new director, and I worked with the director to update their WordPress website, set up a new email account using their domain, and registered an additional domain for their ministry (cwpmglobal.org). The new director has done a marvelous job of redoing their WordPress website. Please check out their website if you would like to see what a custom WordPress website can look like.

- Here are some comments we received from people that are taking the correspondence courses:
- From a student in Malawi, Africa – Bob & Maureen We really appreciate this grace of free lessons. We are not the same. Greetings to you our spiritual parents in the wonderful name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
- Comment from a 69 year old student in Washington state – I want you to know I really enjoy these Bible courses. I am learning a lot. May God continue to bless you all.
- From a student in South Carolina – This lesson is awesome. If I accept God I should develop His character the love, patience, kind, compassion, unchanging, and truthful. These characteristics of God. To be like God we must develop these attitudes and not be like the world.
- From a student in Georgia – To Maureen, Bob and Family: Just wanted you to know that you’re in my prayers. The lessons you are sending to me are truly a blessing. I have shared the extra lessons that you gave me with my cousin’s grandchild, Morgan, and I want to Praise God that Morgan received Jesus as her Saviour and Lord in a recent Bible school. The seeds that you are planting, the Word of God, will not return unto Him void, they accomplish what God pleases, so I thank God for you and your ministry. You’re making a difference in people’s lives for eternity.
Tract Ministry:We have “given out” over 66,000 Bible Tracts online. The tract ministry has suffered due to the website hacking. It is picking up as I am rebuilding the hacked websites (hits up over 18% in January 2014).
Social Networking Outreach: I get new requests on my evangelistic Facebook account regularly. I now have 2331 “friends” in my evangelistic Facebook account. This is a valuable tool to reach the unsaved masses.
Support: We are currently at 67% of support for our ministry expenses. 100% of money donated to us goes to support the ministry – we use NO money for personal expenses.
Prayer Needs: The Lord’s will regarding secular work and health benefits. Help in raising support for the ministry. Please keep us in prayer for our personal financial needs (we are still paying off medical bills) in addition to the ministry’s financial needs. Pray that Bob can spend time migrating and restoring hacked websites.
Specific Financial Needs: Our server needs have been met for the year! Praise God!
