I have been spending hours each day checking for broken links on the Baptist Ministries Database. It is almost depressing to see the number of ministries that have simply let their web presence go away, or that have simply gone away themselves! I am about 2/3 of the way through. I found a domain for a good sized church in North Carolina that had expired. I was unable to locate a new website for the church, they did not even have a Facebook website. I called the church to make sure they were in existance, "rescued" their domain and built a basic web page with links to the Baptist Ministries Database to allow the miniistry to update the information on the website, or even reclaim the domain if they wanted too.
