01/14/09 Update

Mostly good news! I received a call from a youth pastor at a church in Illinois this morning. He had been surfing the web looking for their church and he found our "Unofficial Web Site." He called to change the pastor's name on the website. We had a good discussion, I explained the ministry to him, and added service times to the web page and ministries to their listing in our Web Portal/Database "baptist-ministries." He said he really appreciated the work we are doing, and felt we were providing a great service.I spent most of the morning today updating our ekklesia-online.com website. Ekklesia-Online is our "commercial domain registration and web hosting website." We are an affiliate of Wild West (r) Domains (the resale arm of godaddy according to Wikipedia). I created the resale account to provide churches with a non-markup, highly discounted way of registering domains (I had been paying $35 per year through Network Solutions, and with the volume of domains were doing, I decided to look at alternatives. Anyway – I built the whole site from scratch with a link to our storefront. It dawned on me that "powered by ekklesia-online.com" that was appearing on our web pages could use some more explanation, rather than to dump you off on a generic web hosting/domain registration website with no further details. Feedback is accepted (good or bad).Jessica went in for another battery of tests today to try and determine what is wrong with her. As always your prayers are coveted and appreciated. Maureen will go back in for a followup doctor's visit on Friday,I received a call from a Pastor in Texas on Monday (meant to update this page then). He had been receiving our prayer letters and wanted to let me know he had Maureen in prayer. We had been invited to their missions conference last year, but I couldn't attend due to work constraints. I let him know we were interested in speaking this year if we were invited again. When asked how much advance notice we needed I told him 4 hours (it would take me about 4 hours to get there).
