I received the following email last night from Pastor Carpenter:I wanted to say thank you for praying for me during the heart procedure I went through today. It went off without a hitch and they found that the internal valves of my heart were pumping faster than the outer valves. The doctor believes that this will be treated sucessfully with medication. There was not a need for any further surgery, but of course there will be follow ups to determine the strength and amounts of medication that I will need. I thank the LORD for watching over my family and myself, and for hearing the prayers of everyone who took the time to intercede for me. Thank you very much, and God bless you. Pastor Brian CarpenterOld Paths Baptist ChurchMount Vernon, ILOur work with setting up Mailbox Club online is on hold for the forseeable future. Of the people that are signing up online to take the Bible Courses, about 80% are requesting them via US Mail. Of the people taking the Bible Correspondence Courses, 90% are 15 or older. Mailbox Club currently has courses online for kids up to 12 years old. They are requesting a $100 licensing fee for us to set up the school. At this time we can't justify the fee, so for the time being the course development with Mailxox Clubs is on hold. We would have been the first school online with them.
