Earlier this year, we had the privilege of meeting Brother Jon Shrader at a missions conference. Brother Jon, along with his son, was on furlough from the field in Zambia. It was a joy to hear his testimony and to learn more about the ministry God has entrusted to him and his family.
During our time of fellowship, we spoke about the importance of having an online presence for missionary work. In today’s world, a simple website can serve as a vital tool to share updates, testimonies, prayer requests, and reports of what God is doing on the field. Brother Jon expressed a desire to get a website started for their ministry. Although he was in the middle of a very busy furlough schedule, we were able to put together a starter site with his prayer card and links to his video updates on YouTube. You can visit the site here: zambia4christ.com.
Because of the many churches and meetings he needed to attend while stateside, we were not able to sit down and fully develop the site before his return to Zambia. Now that he and his family are back on the field, he plans to connect with me as time allows so we can continue to build and improve their online ministry presence.
Please keep the Shrader family in your prayers as they labor in Zambia. Pray for souls to be saved, for churches to be strengthened, and for wisdom as they minister in a country that desperately needs the Gospel. And as we work together to expand their online outreach, pray that their website will be another avenue to encourage supporting churches and to share Christ with a broader audience.
