For the past several years, Maureen and I have enjoyed attending the Blessed Hope Baptist Camp Meeting in Alvarado, Texas. This year, however, we were unable to attend because of the ice storm. Even so, we were thankful for the opportunity to visit Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Alvarado several weeks later and be able to spend some time fellowshipping with Pastor Steve Lindsey and the church family.
The service was a real blessing, and we were grateful for the sweet spirit of fellowship afterward. During our visit, Brother Lindsey and I had the opportunity to discuss the importance of having an online presence for both the church and the camp meeting. After some conversation and planning, he selected the domains bhbccampmeeting.org for the camp meeting and bhbcalvarado.org for Blessed Hope Baptist Church.
Pastor Lindsey kindly provided documents to help with the project, and I was also able to take photographs during our visit to use as website content. I then installed WordPress for both sites, and as a result, both the church and the camp meeting now have an online presence.
We thank the Lord for this opportunity to be of help in a practical way and pray these websites will be a blessing, provide useful information, and help more people connect with the ministry of Blessed Hope Baptist Church and the Blessed Hope Baptist Camp Meeting.
