From a student in Nigeria... Greetings, I was thrilled to read your e message. How wonderful our dear Jesus is to use you in that manner to send me a Bible.
We receive requests for Bibles from students around the world.
Unfortunately, we have received requests from people that request Bibles so they can sell them. It seems Bibles are worth money on the black market in many third world countries. We have to pray about it, and make sure that the people we send Bibles to need them and will use them to further their studies in our Bible Correspondence Courses.
We simply cannot send Bibles to everyone that requests them. The Bibles themselves are not cheap, and they are very expensive for us to ship. The Bibles may not even get to the people we send them to.
Please pray for this part of our ministry.
- Pray for us to have discernment to send only to the people that need them and will use them.
- Pray for the funds to purchase and ship the Bibles.
- Pray that the Bibles will reach their intended recipients.
- Pray that the recipients would use the Bibles to grow in the Lord and bring glory and honor to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
