A couple of months ago, I had the privilege of meeting Pastor Jerry Terrell of Central Baptist Church in Athens, Texas. Brother Terrell was interested in learning more about our ministry and the website services we provide to Independent Baptist churches and ministries.
Central Baptist Church had an expensive website hosted through GoDaddy, but Brother Terrell was not satisfied with it. After discussing the church’s needs, I created a new WordPress website and transferred the existing content from GoDaddy to the church’s domain at https://cbc-athens.org/.
We faced a minor time crunch because the church’s Vacation Bible School was quickly approaching. Brother Terrell supplied additional material, and we were able to get the new website online with the VBS information posted in time.
Pastor Terrell was pleased with the appearance and functionality of the completed website. Central Baptist Church now has a fresh, attractive, and useful online presence through which it can share its ministry with Athens, Texas, and beyond.
We are thankful for another opportunity to help a local church expand its outreach through the Internet.
