Today we had the pleasure of visiting Bible Baptist Church in McKinney Texas. I had worked with Pastor Bryan Spugin's wife Amy a while back trying to get them set up on their web page.Mrs Spurgin was able to create their web page using templates from another provider. They have been receiving our Newsletter and sent us a love offering for the ministry.
Pastor Spurgin gave a great message this morning regarding the local church (from the book of Acts).
This is a small friendly church, and I would recommend the church for anyone in the McKinney Texas area that is looking for a Fundamental Independent Bible Based church home.
After the service Maureen and I were invited to lunch with Pastor Spurgin and the family. Normally, after the service they go out to US 380 and do some street preaching. Maureen and I went with them (I took pictures and posted them on Facebook – not sure if this link will work) and then had a wonderful lunch and fellowship at IHOP. Our thanks go out to this church family for their hospitality.
