Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
The Latest News:Greyhound is still running Bob ragged! Please keep the job situation in prayer! Bob had sinus surgery in February. The sinuses are open now, but allergies are still high and the ongoing sinus headaches are still there. ENT and Allergist are talking about sending Bob to a Neurologist next. Bob also apparently has a urinary tract infection and started yet another regiment of antibiotics. Maureen's hand is still not healed. Please keep her in prayer. Jessica has added a shoulder problem to her list of afflictions. The doctors have recommended surgery for her shoulder.
Church Website Ministry:.
Online Churches – A primer for getting your ministry online. I upgraded the software to this website (online-churches.org), and since I have not updated it in a very long time, I spent a lot of time updating the website to, particularly the links to ministries we are hosting and options for your online presence.
Web Hosting Ministry – An important part of our ministry is providing web hosting for Independent Baptist Ministries that do not have a web presence. After updating the links on the online-churches.org website, the stats show we have about 90 ministries on our hosting! It doesn't seem like I had been doing a lot of new hosting over the last several years, but I guess I was mistaken! Our current offering consists mostly of WordPress websites, with a small legacy group of Website Baker websites. We do not charge for anything we do here, the Lord has called us to enable any Independent Baptist Ministry to maintain an online presence whether they can afford it or not. The Lord has called us to expand His presence online, and charging would require us to take ministries offline at some point.
Bible Correspondence Courses:
We want to thank Katherine Feguer for helping on the Bible Correspondence courses over the last quarter.
First Quarter Stats: We mailed out 533 lessons and 9 certificates to 108 active students (18 international and 16 incarcerated). We had active students in 11 countries: Cameroon, Canada, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Malawi, Nigeria, South Africa, Zimbabwe and USA.
Here are some comments we received from people that are taking the correspondence courses:
From a student in CA… I really enjoy this study – God bless those who teach.
From a student in MI… Thank you, so very much for what you do, it is so important to God's kingdom, and me. I need this course and get excited wait/watching the mail for the next to come. When I'm able I'd love to send an offering to bless/help this ministry, it's important & a blessing. I pray for God to amplify, bless and watch over & protect your ministry & the leaders & members in it. God bless, lots of love & prayers!
From a student in Malawi… Dear the beloved Hoffman Family, Greetings to you in the wonderful name of Christ. Let me commend these lessons to be wonderful. You even feel as if you have a teacher next to you when you are studying them. Greetings to those that you share the name of Christ. Keep praying for us here in Malawi as the rains are still coming in unusual way, destroying plants, houses and other things. God bless you, He love you so much. In Christ Jesus, your son…
From a student in Nigeria… Dearly Beloved, Greetings in the wonderful name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. May the Peace and Grace of our God be multiplied in you throughout this year 2015 in Jesus Name, Amen! Happy New Year!! I use this opportunity to show gratitude to God for what He has been using you to do in our lives especially those of us in this part of the world who are destitute of having enough study materials and lack of finance to attend seminary schools because of high cost of fees/tuition. Thank you for sending us the lessons. I have evenly distributed them. Also, I am very grateful to have been able to re establish my relationship with you. Please I still need more of your wonderful helps. I want you to help me more for a speedy spiritual growth and more, better teaching (Biblical) skills development, equipping me for the training of our numerous church workers/leaders, especially at the remote areas and suburban areas. Please don't be offended, I also need more samples of tracts, and your permission to have them reprinted for our hospital, street and house to house evangelism by our numerous churches. I am very sorry for the inconveniences all my problems may have been caused. May God will immensely reward. Amen! Your son in the Lord… (We have contacted an organization that will send him tracts.)
From a student in Malawi… We are also blessed much with these wonderful lessons. In other word the Lessons are more appetizing and well cooked. By the end of every lesson I tell you it lifts you up in one area of your spiritual life. To God be all the glory for all what you are doing to us.
From a student in VA… The entire lesson was great. Always to obey and trust God in all things. Amen for this wonderful lesson. God's blessing upon each of you.
From a student in Cameroon… Greetings to the ministry of Bob and Maureen H. I am sorry for the delaying these answer sheets, up to this time. I wish to appreciate the certificate of achievement I got and equally to comment that the material from you people has been wonderful. I woud have loved to be more faster than I do so that within a short time I may even have a Bachelor or Arts/Dr. Theology, (Ba/Bth) but my problem is the nature of the environment in which I am. Recently I even discovered my email is no more functional and that makes communication very difficult. My prayer for you people is that God will keep you no matter the storms you may see facing as you keep imparting sons and daughters world-wide. Your son in the Lord…
From a student in MI… Thank you, this study is a blessing & helps me alot. God Bless! Can't wait for my next lesson in the mail.
From a Bible student in LA… This surely was a great lesson. Thank you, and God's blessing on each of you.
From a prisoner in Iowa… God bless you and thank you for your gifts. Know that God will return your blessings many-fold, just for blessing me. Thank you and Amen!
Tract Ministry: We have "given out" over 73,000 Bible Tracts online. Social Networking Outreach:I get new requests on my evangelistic Facebook account regularly. I now have 2647 "friends" in my evangelistic Facebook account. This is a valuable tool to reach the unsaved masses. Support: We are currently at 67% of support for our ministry expenses. 100% of money donated to us goes to support the ministry – we use NO money for personal expenses. We have, however, created a "vision" account to allow people to support our personal financial needs if they so desire. We are currently about $1000 per month below what we need to live on if we were to go back into full time ministry in November.
Prayer Needs: The Lord's will regarding secular work. Help in raising support for the ministry. Please keep us in prayer for our personal financial needs in addition to the ministry's financial needs. Would you consider praying for us when special needs arise? If so please subscribe to our prayer warrior's mailing list. : http://eepurl.com/SYbI9
Specific Financial Needs: Our annual server cost is currently $900.
